Override Term Grades on Semester Report Cards
Overview
AE-Connect allows the user to override grades in the Term Grade for high school students.
Currently this is ONLY available if the class is within a Semester Class Schedule.
Description & Pictures
The student MUST HAVE at least one graded assignment in order to populate the Term Grade and allow the school user to override it.
- Navigate to Class
- Navigate to Term Grade
- Select Term Grade to override.
- Select the override grade checkbox
- Choose from the dropdown
- Select Post
In the Semester Class schedule the user can use several codes to override a high school student grade on the report card. The override codes are:
- A = Audit
- I = Incomplete
- W = Withdrawn
- WP = Withdraw Pass
- WF= Withdraw Fail
- P = Pass
- F = Fail
- FA = Failure due to attendance


School who wish to have the code affect the GPA or show credits in the report card and transcript can add the code to the GPA Scale.
In order to add codes to the GPA scale, navigate to the School Profile > GPA Scale. Select add and add code.
ONLY ADD CODE IF YOU WANT THE SPECIAL CODES ABOVE TO SHOW CREDITS OR GPA ON REPORT CARD AND TRANSCRIPTS.
IF THE CODE DOES NOT NEED TO AFFECT GPA OR SHOW CREDITS THEN YOU DO NOT HAVE TO ADD TO GPA SCALE.
When adding codes to the GPA scale:
- Check Passing for credits to show on report card and transcript.
- Do not check passing if the code is a failing code.
- Check Calculate for credits to show and for the code to affect GPA
