Missing Assignments

AE-CONNECT allows you to mark an assignment as missing in the Gradebook and Assignment  Detail screens. When an assignment is marked as missing, both the student and the parent see the missing assignment alert in their respective portals, and the missing assignment will appear on the Missing Assignments report.


Marking Assignments as Missing in the Gradebook

  1. Access the Gradebook for a specific subject by clicking the Subjects tab.
  1. From the list of subjects you are teaching, click one of the subjects.

  1. Within the subject screen, click the Gradebook tab and locate the student and assignment you wish to mark missing.

  1. In the assignment column, type the forward slash ( / ) to the grading cell


✅ You may also activate the special marks modal by clicking in the grading cell and pressing the space bar on your keyboard
