SBG: Term Grade and Report Cards
AE-Connect provides Standards-Based Grading Report Cards. Schools may use the traditional report cards for traditional classes and SGB Report Cards for SBG classes.
Schools also have the option to display SBG classes on Traditional report cards, or to keep them separate.

It is essential that schools wishing to display SBG classes on traditional report cards complete their SBG report cards prior to completing the traditional report cards. The SBG classes must be fully completed and published before the traditional report cards are completed and published, as we rely on the published SBG score to populate the traditional term score.
STEP 1: TERM GRADE
Users should navigate to the Term Grade Section of the SBG class and select the measurement topics they would like to include in the reported grade for the selected term. Only the measurement topics selected by the user will be used to calculate the score shown on the report cards.
The user will review the measurement topics they wish to include within the selected term, and then publish it. Publishing the Term Grades will commit those selections to the report cards.
- Select Term Grade
- Ensure you are in the correct term.
- Select the circle above measurement topics to choose the ones to report for the term.
- Select the publishing button to commit to report card.
Repeat will all SBG Classes.
STEP 2: SBG Report Cards
Navigate to the Report Card section of AE-Connect and SBG Report Cards, and then select the term for which you would like to publish the report cards.
Review the report cards to ensure all SBG classes have been published. All classes publish will display a green circle with the score.
User can use the filter option to filer by a grade or teacher.

- Select all students (top checkbox) or individual students to publish

Printing SBG Report Cards
Once the report cards are publish the user can print them. The user can print individual students by selecting the print next to each student or the user can print all using the print option at bottom of screen.

- Select the print icon next to the student to print for one student
- SELECT All students using checkbox and then use the print at the bottom of the page to print for all students.
Traditional Report Cards with SBG
Once the SBG Report Cards are published the user can navigate to the traditional report cards to publish. We automatically calculate the letter grade on the traditional report card form the SBG Report Card.
The User has the option to show or hide the SBG classes on the report cards using the checkbox for "Include SBG."
- Navigate to Report Cards
- SBG Classes will display if "Display SBG Classes" is checked. SBG Classes are not clickable.
- Use the checkmark to Display or hide SBG Classes on the traditional report cards.
IMPORTANT!
If you want to have SBG classes calculate GPA on Traditional Report Cards they need to be shown.
