Term Grades

The Term Grade tab of the subjects screen allows teachers to finalize term grades for each subject/class they teach. This area is intended to be accessed near the end of a term, or after a term is completed in order to finalize and post required data to the report card.


SCREEN OVERVIEWS

Class Grade

The first active page within the tab is the Class Grade screen. Within this page you will see a list of all students you teach in each subject. Students are listed alphabetically by last name, followed by the class abbreviation and student grade level. Next you will see the quarter grade that is calculated from the grade book, a comment field, and Instructional Level options (only for Language Arts and Mathematics).

💫 Tip: You may use the class filter to isolate a specific class or classes you wish to view.


Clicking on the grade of each student opens a fly in that allows you to view the details of the grade book calculation, including any categories that may have been added to the class and their corresponding weighting.

Within the fly in, the report card comment can be added and/or edited, as well as the Instructional Level (only for Language Arts and Mathematics). Here you may choose the option to Override Grade, which allows you to add a manual percentage and override the grade book calculation.


Skills

The second tab in the Term Grade screen is Skills. Within this page you will see a list of students grouped by grade levels (TK-K, 1-2, and 3-8), and listed in alphabetical order by last name. You may use the class filter to isolate a specific class or classes you will to see at any give time. 

Note: If no skills are present for a class/subject, you will see a notification that “No skills for this subjects term.”
