AE-Connect Attendance UI Update
AE-Connect has recently implemented an update to the user interface for attendance. This communication will outline the modifications made to Day Attendance, Class Attendance (high school), and Student Class Attendance (high school).
Day Attendance
- The feature has been renamed to "Attendance".
- Rather than selecting "Week Attendance" from the dropdown, the user now has to choose between day and week attendance in the new date picker.
- Moving the navigation arrows in the date picker box to facilitate easy navigation between days or weeks.
- When adding comments in the Day View the user must select the Save ✔️ to save the comment.
- Implemented the functionality to add comments in the Week view of attendance.
- When adding comments in this view, the comment will be applied to every day of the week. Users can select the "+" to add comments.
- User can view comments by selecting the comment icon.
Class Attendance (High School)
- Class Attendance is available to be taken by week. The user can select Week in the Date picker.

Student Attendance (High School)
- Move the Day and Week option to the Date Picker.
- When adding comments in the Day View the user must select the Save ✔️ to save the comment.

REMINDER: Student Attendance is for high school and ONLY available to those with Admin access.

Day Attendance is for elementary students. The teacher takes attendance once a day for the students.
Class Attendance is for high school students. The teacher takes attendance every class period for the students.
Student Class Attenance is for high school students. The school Administrator has access to take attendance for a student class attendance.
