End of Year Tasks

Overview

At the end of the year there are several things that you need to confirm is completed to ensure a smooth transition to the new school year.


Step 1: Report Cards

STEP 2: Transcripts (Grade 9-12 ONLY)

STEP 3: Students

STEP 4: Data Rollup

STEP 5: New Year School  Setup


STEP 1: Report Cards

  1. Navigate to Report Cards  in AE-Connect to review each grade by term to ensure all report cards are published.
    1. The user can also view the Report Card > Dashboard to quickly see how many report cards are published for the term.

ONLY PUBLISHED REPORT CARDS ARE SENT TO THE NAD DATA ROLLUP

  1. Review Report cards in the NAD Data Rollup to ensure all report cards are present and correct.

STEP 2: Transcripts (Grade 9-12 ONLY)

  1. Review all Transcripts for Grades 9-12 in AE-Connect  to ensure all classes for the current school year are accounted for.  
  2. Review all Transcripts for accuracy.
  3. Review all transcripts in NAD Data Rollup for accuracy.

STEP 3: Students

  1. Ensure all students data has been entered to completion.
    1. Report Cards
    2. Transcripts
    3. Attendance
  2. Complete Next Year Status and Next Year Grade level in Student Portfolio.

STEP 4: Data Rollup

  1. Review Report Cards
  2. Review Transcripts (Gr. 9-12)
  3. Review Teacher Closing Report
  4. Review student Cumulative Records
  5. Freeze School Closing Report
  6. Freeze School Imports

ONLY PROCEED TO NEXT STEPS IF THE FOUR STEPS ABOVE ARE COMPLETED!

STEPS FOR NEW YEAR

Students cannot be enrolled in the school for the new year until AFTER July 16. That is when the NAD DASHBOARD switches to the 2026-2027 school year.
